Yes, it felt that high...
Traveling Man taking in the view...
There was a sign at the top that read,
"Goodbye earth.
Hello sky."
Yes, we walked OVER the gorge on a bridge.
I can say that today I faced my fear,
and I survived!
I'm glad I did, because look at the shot I got!
And the hike was a long one,
so we got some good exercise, too.

A Little at a Time - A large vast area of granite. Slowly covered by an Artic glacier, a little at a time. Like a hourglass the ice flow melted, a little at a time. When all was gone, the mountains rose, a little at a time. A gorge was formed by a river, a little at a time. A thousand centuries passed and the red man came, a little at a time. The gorge was protection for the Ute, for the white man cometh, a little at a time. Now the red man is gone, the white man starts the bridge expansion, a little at a time. The bridge complete, the white man cometh again, a little at a time. One can stand on the bridge and wonder how all this transpired, I know that God made it happen, a little at a time. When Yaya, came to this breathtaking wonder and she took it all in, we all can bet, with every step, it came, a little at a time.
"To me, the beauty and magnificence of the outside world has always shouted an unmistakable message that an astoundingly creative Intelligence is behind it all. As an artist, my eye is trained to recognize good work. And the work I see in a fiery fluorescent autumn tree or in craggy tumbled boulders or the subtle patchwork of color in a sun-kissed field bespeaks an imagination and a craftmanship far beyond that of any human artist. Listen to the trees, for what they have to say to you. Listen to the sun, the moon, the stars, to the echoing, intimate voice of the heavens."

Yes, taking in life 'a little at a time'...capturing moments, places, words, thoughts, 'a little at a time'....
Thank you for visiting, but most of all, thank YOU for leaving behind your words of wonder, and inspiration.
